Military Sealift Fleet Support Command, VA hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to AMERICAN VULKAN CORPORATION 2525 DUNDEE RD WINTER HAVEN, FL the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This is an OEM requirement for RATO-DG Coupling Assemblies. The material must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit, and function) with existing systems presently installed. These parts must coordinate, connect, or interface with the existing system. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available.
