THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify Small Business firms capable of providing the following to the Department of Air Force:
The U.S. Air Force, Hickam AFB, Hawaii intends to solicit for the development of a strategic and operational plan for rat eradication on Wake Island. The plan will account for the islandâs ecosystem to conduct a pre-eradication feasibility survey, establish a baseline ecological data point prior to rat eradication, determine the best broadcast method, calibrate rodenticide needed for eradication, asses and mitigate risk to non-targeted species and work within the guidelines of the Environmental Assessments
Responses shall include the following:
(1) list of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact with their phone numbers
(2) attach completed questionnaire.
Firms interested should provide the above documentation, fax or e-mail responses will be accepted. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of interested small business set-aside concerns. Responses shall be limited to 10 pages. Failure to submit all information requested would result in a contractor being considered ânot interestedâ in this requirement. A decision on whether this will be pursued as a set-aside or an unrestricted basis will be posted as a modification in Federal Business Opportunities.
Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Purchase Request No. F2C1EC8211A002 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
