The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to continue ordering against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N68335-15-G-0009 on a non-competitive basis with Canadian Commercial Corporation, 50 O'Connor Street, Suite 1100 Ottawa, Ontario Canada K1A 0S6 (with 100% subcontracting to Curtiss-Wright Indal Technologies, Inc., 3570 Hawkestone Road, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada L5C 2V8 for the procurement of systems, system repair and upgrading, system upgrade kits, change kits, Installation and Checkout spares, technical data, studies, and software development for the Recovery Assist, Securing and Traversing (RAST) system, Horizon Reference Set (HRS), Aircraft Ship Integrated Secure and Traverse (ASIST) system, and Lateral Transfer System (LTS).  Curtiss-Wright Indal Technologies, Inc. has designed and developed the RAST system and is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

The Government intends to procure the above items and services under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that contains information that may be used by the Government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within 15 days of publication if this notice. Any response(s) should reference N68335-14-R-0109.
