THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

The U.S. Naval Hospital, Guam intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Informatics, Inc, 2000 Holiday Dr, Charlottesville, VA 22901. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541512 Computer Systems Design Services with a size standard of $30,000,000. The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting “Other than full and Open Competition” in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 – Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. This purchase order is intended to meet the mission of the Laboratory Department’s requirement to acquire services for Point-of-Care Testing operations and web-based software for healthcare data systems. Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Informatics, Inc is actively registered in SAM.gov.
