The information requested will be used within United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) to facilitate decision making (i.e., determining acquisition strategy, small business concerns, etc.) and will not be disclosed outside the Government. Description/Scope

The United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) is seeking sources that possess the availability and capability to provide rail tamper machines for the Military Ocean Terminal-Sunny Point (MOTSU) and the Military Ocean Terminal-Concord (MOTCO). The machines must be capable of packing (or tamping) the track ballast under railway tracks to make the tracks more durable. See attached for specifications required.
