POTENTIAL EQUALS MUST BE ABLE TO MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM CHARACTERISTICS:
1. IT HAS TO USE ELECTRO-MAECHANICALLY COOLED HIGH PURITY COAXIAL GERMANIUM (HPGe) AS ACTIVE ELEMENT OF DETECTION. LIQUID COOLED NITROGEN COOLED HPGe WILL NOT WORK. DETECTOR DIMENSION CANNOT BE LESS THAN 50 mm DIAMETER X 30 mm DEEP.
2. THE GAMMA ENERGY RESOLUTION WILL BE <2keV AT 1332keV (FOR Co-60 SECOND LINE)
3. THE UNIT WILL WEIGH LESS THAN 16 POUNDS.
4. THE UNIT HAS TO BE RUGGED, WATERPROOF IN A WHEELED TRANSPORT CASE.
5. THE DETECTOR HAS TO HAVE BUILT IN NEUTRON DETECTOR.
6. THE DETECTOR UNIT WILL HAVE BUILT-IN GPS CAPABILITY.
