The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Delivery Order under BOA N00019-05-G-0017 to ITT Avionics, Clifton New Jersey on a sole source basis for Field Engineering Services and travel in support of the AN/ALQ-214 System. The contractor will assist the US Navy in the initial aircraft installations and checkout of 8 AN/ALQ-214 systems for the F/A-18E/F aircraft at NAS LEMOORE. This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis to ITT Avionics in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 because ITT Avionics is the sole designer, developer and manufacture of the AN/ALQ-214 and is the only firm that can provide these services within the required time frame.
