The Senior Technical Advisor will be a key member of USAID's Health and Population Team (Strategic Objective Ten). Under the direct supervision of the USDH Team Leader, the contractor will provide guidance, monitoring and technical support to USAID, the Government of the Dominican Republic (GODR), non-governmental organizations (NGO), technical counterparts of donors and USAID cooperating agencies in the design, implementation, coordination and monitoring of USAID's Strategic Objective. The Advisor will also play a critical role in managing USAID/DR's program agenda for reproductive health and family planning and a consultative role for HIV / AIDS and child survival elements of the Health and PopulationTeam's portfolio.
