THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a special notice of intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed-price purchase order in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH) Installation Contracting Office has a requirement on behalf of The U.S. Army Band in support of the 2011 production of "A Holiday Festival" performed by The United States Army Band, "Pershing's Own" and hosted by the Joint Force Headquarters, Military District of Washington for usher services in support of the 2011 "A Holiday Festival" Concert being held at the DAR, Constitution Hall in Wash, DC. The period of performance is December 8-11, 2011. This acquisition is a 100% small business-set aside procurement. The intended contractor is Theater Services Inc, 1508 Blue Meadow Rd, Potomac MD, 20854. The NAICS Code is 711320 and the FSC Code is R499. The basis for restricting competition is that Theater Services, Inc is the required vendor to perform usher services when leasing the DAR, Constitution Hall venue (per its lease/licensing agreement).
