ACC Rock Island anticipates extending the existing contract, W560MY12C0005, with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), for an additional 37 days to complete transition to the new competitive contract W52P1J12D0005. The current contract expires November 29, 2012. The period of performance for the extension is November 30, 2012 thru January 06, 2013. This extension will provide continuity of service until transition is complete. Contract extension will be executed as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
