The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will be soliciting proposals for the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR). The purpose of the SRTR is to provide analytic support to the transplant community for data collected by the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) from all U.S. transplant programs on all kidney, pancreas, liver, heart, heart/lung and intestine transplants. The SRTR contract supports the operation of the scientific registry database which provides analytic support to the OPTN committees and the Secretaryââ¬â¢s Advisory Committee on Organ Transplantation, conducts research, develops and maintains simulation modeling, supplements and validates collected OPTN data with other available datasets, conducts analytic reviews of the performance of transplant centers and Organ Procurement Organizations. The Government anticipates awarding a contract with a three-year base period, and two one-year options. This acquisition is being conducted under Full and Open competition. The solicitation will be issued on or about March 15, 2005. It will be available at the Government website at www.fbo.gov under HHS, Health Resources and Services Administration, Posted Dates. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the site for amendments to the solicitation. The agency will consider proposals from all responsible sources.
