The YWCA of Greater Los Angeles is an Equal Opportunity Employer and operates the Los Angeles Job Corps Center (LAJCC) under contract with the U.S. Department of Labor. The YWCA has a requirement to request bids to operate the Janitorial Service subcontract for six different locations. The subcontractor shall furnish all necessary qualified personnel, supervision, equipment, materials and paper supplies. Only one mandatory Pre-bid walk through will be held at the LAJCC on March 21, 2006, at1031 South Hill Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015, from 9:00 a.m. through 12:00 noon. A bid package will be available during the conference. Participation by small business, veteran-owned small business, HBZone small business and women-owned small business are encouraged to bid (must show certificate of certification issued by the Small Business Administration). Bids must be received by March 31, 2006. The Janitorial subcontract will be awarded for the period of May 1, 2006 through April 30, 2008.
