READINESS SUPPORT SERVICES MANAGER FOR The 143 Airlift Wing, RI Air National Guard Base, 1 Minuteman Way, North Kingstown, RI 02852. The 143 Airlift Wing requires a Family Readiness and Support Services Manager Contract. The contractor will provide cons ultation and assistance to the Mission Support Group Commander the Deputy Support Group Commander and unit leadership in identifying and addressing family issues and demographic trends, which impact mission readiness and retention. The contractor will pro vide input to accommodate family needs during full or partial unit mobilizations. Period of contract after award will be one base year with one option year. Request for Proposal, Best Value. This solicitation is for a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The government intends to award a contract to the offeror deemed responsible in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), whose proposal conforms to the RFP's requirements and judged to represent the Best Value to the Government. The Best Valu e is the most advantageous offer, price and other factors considered, and consistent with the Government's stated importance of evaluation criteria. Evaluation factors of Past Performance, Oral Presentation, and Personnel Qualifications, when combined, ar e significantly more important than cost or price. The Government will award a contract to the offeror who represents the best value to the Government. The Government reserves the right to award the contract to other than the lowest priced offer.
