The USDA, Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), seeks a qualified contractor(s) to fabricate, deliver, and manage 20 Power Panther costumes. The contractor shall fabricate and deliver 20 new Power Panther costumes based on the design and specifications contain in the statement of work. The contractor shall provide costume management services at their facility for the 20 new costumes. In order to accomplish this task the contactor shall: Costume Fabrication and Delivery The contractor shall fabricate and deliver a total of 20 new Power Panther™ costumes based on the design specifications contained in the Statement of Work. This will include the fabrication of one (1) prototype costume. Delivery of costumes will be to various locations within the United States. Costume Management Services The contractor shall provide costume management services at their facility for the 20 new costumes. In order to accomplish this, the contractor shall: • Schedule and track the costumes. The vendor will receive written notification from designated FNS personnel via fax of cooperators who have been authorized to borrow the costume. The vendor shall schedule usage of the costume from these written requests and track the costumes through the shipping process system • Ship the costume (both ways) within the United States of America. • Repair, clean, and store each costume upon its return. FNS may make multiple awards under this solicitation based on the best value to the government . Specifically, FNS may award the costume fabrication/delivery and the costume management portions to the same or different contractors. This procurement will be FULL AND OPEN and the resultant contract will have a base period (1 year) and four option periods (4 years). The solicitation document will be issued on or about July 14, 2006.
