The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) requests to procure a Professional Service order of an experienced board certified clinical urologist with expertise in both adult and pediatric urology in an academic setting. An MD degree is required as is Board Certification in Urology. The contractor shall be a Professor of Urology or of Surgery or an equivalent status, with extensive publications in urology. Documented experience in leadership positions in professional organizations for urology is desirable such as Editorial Board membership, Executive Committee memberships. The RFQ will provide further tasks. This is not set aside for small businesses. Award will be made based on Best Value. Responsible vendors that are capable of providing NIDDK with this service may request a copy of the RFQ in writing or by FAX to 301-480-4226 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that RFQ NIH-NIDDK-06-682 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is January 13, 2006.
