The United States Agency for International Development Mission in Peru (USAID/Peru) is seeking applications of qualified non-governmental institutions to provide services to its Office of Democratic Initiatives (ODI) in support of its Strategic Objective Number 9 (SO 9), entitled Democratic Processes and Institutions Strengthened in Critical Areas. Under this objective, the contract will focus on supporting Intermediate Result Number 2 (IR2), entitled Increased responsiveness of elected sub-national governments to citizens at the local level in selected regions. The overall efforts of USAID/Peru to achieve IR2 will be referred to as the Pro-Decentralization Program. The purpose of this contract is to acquire the contractor?s best efforts for the period specified to help USAID/Peru achieve IR2 through accomplishing the results, conducting the activities and providing the deliverables specified in the Statement of Work.
