The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a need for professional support services to assist the NSWCCD Operations Department in the functional areas of Operations Management, Internal Organizational Alignment, Command Management Control Program, Industrial Logistics Support Management Information System (ILSMIS), Travel and Fleet Card Program and management of other special programs as required. The period of performance will be from date of award through five years. The proposed contract action is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Peter M. Cogswell (PMC) LLC. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). This is a follow-on effort and the services being acquired are of a highly specialized and unique nature and only PMC has the necessary experience and inherent working knowledge of the various programs specifi! ed in the Statement of Work. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may forward their capability statement to the point of contact no later than 24 Aug 2007. See Note 1.
