The US Department of Transportation?s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has obligated $858,150 to the DRA to prepare its report ?Transportation Assets and Needs for the Region? to satisfy the requirements of Section 1923 of the 2005 national highway act, known as SAFETEA-LU. The Authority has determined that the request for proposal (?RFP?) process best serves the needs and interests of the Authority and its public; accordingly, the DRA Board has decided at this point that it is seeking an entity (who may use sub-contractors to assist it) through this request for proposals (?RFP?) process to help the Authority meet or exceed the outcomes hereinafter presented and described.
