Synopsis:

Background: The purpose of this acquisition is to provide linguist support from October 2015 to September 2016 in Djibouti Africa

Place of Performance: Services will be performed in Djibouti Africa
Description of Services: The contractor shall provide one up to ten (10) translators for the following languages: French, Arabic, AFAR, Somali, Ta'izzi-Adeni and English.

REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall perform the linguist support referenced in above paragraphs. All interpreters shall be able to read, write and speak English. All interpreters shall be familiar with military terminology and competent in both technical and conversational dialogues. The number of hours performed will not exceed 3,000 for the contract period. The performance requirements are not limited to those listed above and will be fully outlined in the Performance Work Statement included in the Solicitation. The Government anticipates awarding firm fixed price contract

Period of Performance: October 2015 to September 2016

SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested vendors submit a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating the ability to perform the services listed above.

NOTE: If the decision is made to issue a solicitation for this requirement, additional information regarding the Performance of Work will accompany the solicitation.
