The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), office of Commercial Partnerships Division, "Source", intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Applied Geographics, Inc. located in Boston, MA. This effort is to develop a data definitions schema for the Homeland Security Infrastructure Program (HSIP). The HSIP Data Model should be a common, stable, and mature data model. It should meet the original HSIP objective or providing a standard set of geospatial feature definitions. Also, provide for a strategic, nationwide need for a rapidly scalable and cost-effective framework for data collection and database development. It should provide collateral support materials and tools for HSIP schema navigation and viewing. Contractors who can provide the above listed Homeland Security Infrastructure Program, must indicate their interest within 3 days of this annoucement. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis cannot be considered a Request for Ouotations/Proposals. All responses from responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the award of the contract. Oral communications are not accepted.
