This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources interested in providing historian support efforts to the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA). This support will be required in the St. Louis, Missouri area and will include approximately 25% man-year effort. Efforts will include developing an overall plan for documenting and publicizing accoumplishments of NIMA, conducting oral interviews, establishing artifacts and documenting collections. The contract type is to be determined. Multiple awards are not anticipated. Requirements include an advanced degree in history and experience in conducting oral history interviews. Awardees must either hold or be eligible for a Top Secret security clearance. Conflict of interest (COI) and non-disclosure of information rules may apply. The applicable NAICS code and size standard are 712110 / $6M. Responses to this sources sought notice must (1) state whether they are a small or large business based on the size standard above; (2)indicate if a small disadvantaged or woman-owned business, 8(a) firm, or a historically black college or university or minority institution (HBCU/MI), or a historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone) small business; (3) provide experience in the form of an outline of previous projects for specific relevant work completed or currently being performed of equivalent magnitude including contract numbers, description of the work, points of contact, and phone numbers; professional qualifications and specific experience of personnel identified to perform the work; and (4) any other pertinent information which would enable the government to assess a firm's capabilities. Because the government reserves the right to set this acquisition aside for small businesses, 8(a) firms, or HUBZones based on the responses received, it is imperative that firms respond with the required information so that capabilities can be evaluated accurately. Complete responses must be received by the government prior to close of business on 21 July 03.
