NOAA intends to award a sole source follow-on procurement to Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) entitled “High Resolution Ocean and Atmosphere PCO2 Time Series Measurements”. The contract period is for 5 years. The services will include providing carbon monitoring that will support biogeochemical measurements in the Equatorial Pacific at specific locations and will includes the filtering and measuring of surface water samples for chlorophyll and other nutrients on all of the United States TAO (Tropical Atmosphere Ocean)cruises. The Government anticipates award of a fixed price contract for four years. The period of performance will begin on date of contract award and end four years after the date of award of the contract. The ESTIMATED contract award date is August 15, 2006.
