This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. In this effort the government is seeking to acquire contractor support to research and write a volume on the CJCS/VCJCS, the Joint Staff, and the JCS roles in planning and opertions during the first 18 months of the Global War on Terror (GWOT). It is anticipated the contract will have a base year and four option year s. The contract line items, period of performance, date of delivery, applicable contract clauses and performance work statement are contained in the RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11.
