The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for a Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Labor Hour type contract. This contract shall be for the acquisition of a Gunsmith to be located at the FBI Academy, Quantico, VA. The Government will not pay for relocation costs. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is RFQ-C0001257 and will be issued in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 12-Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811490, the Small Business size standard is $6M. This RFP is being conducted as a 100% Small Business procurement. The required gunsmith shall be familiar with Springfield Armory 1911 and 1911A style pistons, Colt M4 and derivatives, Remington 700 rifles and derivatives, and .308 Caliber Bolt Action Rifles.
