In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 13 “Simplified Acquisition Procedures” (48 CFR Part 13), the United States Department of Commerce is providing widespread notice of this acquisition opportunity and is requesting quotes to provide technical advising services for World Trade Organization (WTO) related matters for the Government of Moldova. The Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) is seeking a contractor to provide technical assistance on WTO accession and post-accession related matters and trade liberalization in Moldova. The specific task is described in the Statement of Work, is included in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ, SA1301-04-RQ-0030, is being issued utilizing FAR 13 procedures. Work will be performed in the US and Moldova. The base period of performance will commence on April 5, 2004 through October 30, 2004. The total duration of the contract (including all options) is not-to-exceed April 5, 2006. This is a 100% small business set-aside with a NAICS code of 541199 and a size standard of $6.0 Million. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by CLDP. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments and all questions and answers relating to this procurement shall be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
