The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum has identified a need for Exhibition Fabrication and Installation Services with firms possessing a minimum of five years proven experience in successfully completing museum exhibition fabrication and installation projects of various sizes and complexities ranging from small- to large-scale.The USHMM estimates but does not guarantee the following number of Fabrication and Installation projects: fifteen (15) small scale projects, five (5) medium scale projects of approximately 2,500 square feet, and two (2) large-scale projects of approximately 5,500 square feet. Specifications for fabrication and installation work required are described in Section C, Statement of Work in the solicitation. Contractor services will be utilized in projects for the USHMM’s Permanent Exhibition and for the fabrication and installation of temporary and traveling exhibitions. It is anticipated that the requirement will be awarded as an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with task orders issued on a firm fixed price basis. The USHMM is planning on awarding multiple awards to approximately four Contractors. The period of performance will be for one base year and four one year options for a total of five years from the date of award. Awards will be made to those responsible, responsive offerors after an evaluation of the technical samples, technical criteria and price. It is estimated that the awards will be made on or about October 27, 2004. The USHMM estimates issuing the solicitation on or about July 14, 2004.
