The National Institute of Standards and Technology has a requirement to enhance the NIST Quantum Communication Testbed. The specific tasks are described in the Statement of Work included in the Solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this project will be issued on or about September 4, 2003, utilizing FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The performance period will be from date of award through March 30, 2004. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed-price purchase order on or about September 19, 2003.
