The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) has a requirement for engineering and programming services in the areas of spectroradiometry, radiation thermometry, Earth remote sensing calibrations, and optical properties of materials. The Contractor must be expert in radiometric physics and be able to support radiometry efforts in the Optical Technology Division, at NIST, Gaithersburg, MD. A detailed Statement of Work (SOW), along with terms and conditions and full instructions, will be included in the solicitation document, which can be accessed in accordance with instructions provided below.*****The period of performance will be a Base period of twelve (12) months, with two (2) Option periods of twelve (12) months each.*****This requirement is being set aside for small businesses.
