The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire, through sole source, services to support programs assigned to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego, C4I Programs Office Philadelphia. Authorization is pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements". This action is a modification to contract N00140-98-D-E203 with Lockheed Martin Corporation. These programs include the Cruise Missile Command and Control Systems and related components, Naval Mission Planning Systems, Joint Mission Planning Systems, Imagery Support, and National Imagery and Mapping Agency, as well as other related command and control intelligence systems. It is expected that a cost plus fixed fee modification will be issued to extend the current period of performance through 31 December 2002. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interests and technical capability to respond to this requirement. All technical proposals received within the 45 day notice will be considered by the Government. The Government reserves the right not to open this requirement to competition based upon technical responses to this notice. Technical responses and requests received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for information received. Numbered notes 22 and 26 apply.
