This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Request for Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference number CAFBEDU1 is a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in affect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code is (611691). The small business size standard is $6 million. The basic contract period is 1 Oct 03- 30 Sep 04 with four option years. The offeror shall provide as a response to this solicitation: 1) a resume detailing relevant training and experience; (2) a list of at least three recent references; (3) a complete price list (Attachment 1), and (4) a completed clause 52.212-3 (Attachment 2). All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or electronically, either through e-mail or mail. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offerorâs responsibility to ensure receipt of the quotes by the time and date stated herein. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and will remain in full force in any resultant award. STATEMENT OF WORK: STUDY SKILL SEMINAR INSTRUCTOR
1) The contractor shall provide instructional services for the study skills seminars to military and DoD civilians. 2) Definition of a unit: the conduct of an 8 hour seminar which may be a 1 day 8 hr. session or no more than 4 days â 2 hrs per session. 3) Instruction may be morning, afternoon, evening, or all day. 4) Call for services will be made by the Chief, Education Services Flight, or appointed representative, on the basis of need. 5) Instructor(s) need some experience in one or more of the following areas: time management, memory techniques, reading, and testing strategies. 6) The contractor must report to the Chief, Education Services Flight, any time that he/she would not physically be able to conduct the class. Notification must be made no less than 48 hours in advance of scheduled class. 7) Duties are as follows: a. Arrive at least 30 minutes before class starts. b. Ensure that all materials such as handouts, books, audio and visual equipment are in place. c. Take attendance roll and return completed form to the Education Services Flight. d. Submits delivery ticket at the end of each course. e. Submits students' critiques of the course.
