The US DOT Maritime Administration James River Reserve Fleet is responsible for storing and maintaining commercial and military cargo ships at Fort Eustis, Virginia. The primary purpose of the Waterborne Hull Cleaning and Associated Services Contract is to provide hull cleaning, hull inspection, and other related ship husbandry services on the underwater portion of ships and fleet craft assigned to the James River Reserve Fleet. However, orders may be issued for services to be performed at locations other than the James River Reserve Fleet.
