Special Notice
This is neither a request for formal Request for Proposals (RFP) or quotes. The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with the development and submission of materials in response to this request. There is no solicitation available at this time. However, should such a requirement materialize, no basis for claims against NRL shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought notice or NRL's use of such information as either part of our evaluation process or in developing specifications for any subsequent requirement.

Objective
The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is searching for potential sources that are capable of performing the requirements set forth in the attached statement of work titled "Research And Development In Eo And Ir For Advanced Reconnaissance (Isr) And Electronic Warfare (Ew) Prototypes For Navy/Marine Corps Tactical Aircraft". The intent of this RFI is to gauge industry interest, capabilities and relevant experience to support NRL personnel in performing Scientific, and Engineering Services in the following areas listed in the attached statement of work.

CONTRACTOR RESPONSE FORMAT
The NRL asks that interested parties, at a minimum, supply the following information:
a) Name of Company and Point of Contact (POC)
b)Telephone Number, Fax Number, Address and e-mail address of POC
c) Business Size and number of employees
d) Type of Set Aside (if applicable)
e) Capability statement and relevant experience in the task areas listed in the SOW.

Pricing and Schedule Information
NRL is requesting interested contractors to provide Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimate of costs.
