NOTICE OF INTENT TO SET ASIDE
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10 Contracting, and the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio requires a contractor to provide blood and specimen courier services. These services will be provided to Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC), one medical centers and associated facilities. Services will require both scheduled and unscheduled emergency 24/7 pick-ups and deliveries. The Contracting Officer anticipates making a single award which shall cover areas in the northeast Ohio geographic area.

The period of performance shall be a base period from the date of award through twelve months thereafter, plus 4 option years to be exercised at the discretion of the government.
The solicitation is expected to be issued as a 100% percent service disable veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 492110 and the size standard is 1,500 employees.
