Mission and Installation Contracting Center, Fort Belvoir, VA is issuing a compbined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR subpart 13. Simplified Acquisition Procedures, supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Please reveiw the attached announcement of this solicitation. Quotes are being requested in accordance with the attached solicitation document, for a civilian catholic clergy for the Garrison Chaplains Office, Fort Belvoir, VA. The contractor is to provide the EERS that are core and essential for worship, rites,sacraments, ordinances, religious education as it is determined to be an Essential Elements of the Religious Service (EERS), and emergency pastoral care and counseling that is specific to the Catholic ecclesiastical requirements. The contractor provides professional Catholic denominational services to include Catholic Mass for authorized personnel, classes of instruction on Catholic doctrine, and provides other specialized services as per the dictates of the Roman Catholic Church. The contractor shall maintain adequate records of worship functions, classes taught,emergency ministrations made, and answer inquiries about Catholic worship program.
