The USCG MLCP in Alameda, CA, proposes to contract for the Base Operating Support Services (BOSS) for the Integrated Support Command (ISC) Kodiak, Alaska, and its tenant Government activities. This procurement is an 8 (a) small business set aside. The contractor is to provide management, supervision, planning, programming, personnel, labor, materials, services, supplies, parts, transportation and equipment (except those specified as Government-furnished) required to operate, maintain, repair, improve, alter, construct, and safeguard real property facilities and equipment. Services include preventative maintenance, janitorial services, refuse collection/disposal, grounds maintenance, snow/ice control, roadway maintenance/repair, fuel services, environmental protection and emergency response services, security services, vehicle maintenance and repair, plant operations, mail services, support services, pest control, housing maintenance and maintenance/repair/improvement (MRI) work. The solicitation is proposed to include a base year and nine option years. A thirty day phase-in period will be from 01 September 2006 to 30 September 2006. The base year performance period is from 01 October 2006 to 30 September 2007. The government anticipates this solicitation to result in an award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract. In addition, the solicitation will include Indefinite Quantity provisions with Time and Material clauses for delivery orders issued against the contract.
