USAID/Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) intends to issue a sole source follow-on award to International Business and Technical Consultants, Inc. for nine months to support the position of an International Special Advisor as the chair of the new BiH Commission for Accounting and Auditing Standards, build institutional capcity within the Commission to take over responsibilities defined in the law on accounting and auditing and take steps to ensure that this reform is implemented in a sustainable fashion. Less than full and open competition is sought to allow International Business and Technical Consultants, Inc. to provide these services. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All statements of interest received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determininng whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
