The Quick Response project proposes to position General Dynamics for timely acquisition of the design services and contraction necessary to respond to issues. Also included are costs for studies which may be required to determine proper courses of action in response to CTR and Environmental/Safety concern. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA.  GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.  See Note 22.*****
