Provide technical data. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only; a proposal is requested and a written solicitation will be issued.  The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) FA8501-14-T-0005.  Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are that in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74, effective 30 May 2014, NAICS is 313320 and large business size is 1393 (total) employees.  Place of performance/FOB Robins AFB Georgia.

The approximate RFQ issue date will be 02 Jul 2014 .  Proposal is due 10 Jul 2014.

This requirement is sole source Park Aerospace Technologies Corp., CAGE (Code 5JCZ1) / Park Electrochemical Corp (CAGE Code: 0JSV3) in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Or A Limited Number of Responsible Sources, And No Other Supplies Or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. 

The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government that this requirement will not be competed based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Foreign participation is not permitted. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified below for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition.
