The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is contemplating issuance of a sole source contract in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541511. The CDC intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Qiagen, Inc., 27220 Turnberry Ln, Valencia,CA 91355-1018.
The selected vendor will provide:
1. License-CLC Microbial genomics-quantity-20
2. Network License Maintenance
3. Option Year 1-CLC Microbial genomics- quantity 10 and CLC Network License Maintenance-quantity-20
4. Option Year 2-CLC Network License Maintenance-quantity-20

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation is available. All other interested sources may provide descriptive information and documentation to rights to operate, perform updates for the software. All responses must be received by December 29, 2016 at 10am Eastern Time. Responses to this posting shall be submitted to the following email address: [email protected] only. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
