This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be award from this announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to perform market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 561320, Temporary Help Services with a size standard $34 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 5 (NCO 5) is seeking to identify any vendor capable of providing onsite Medical Physicists to support the Radiation Oncology Service at the Washington D.C VA Medical Center, 50 Irving St. NW. Washington D.C. 20422 The Contractor shall furnish all personnel to provide services necessary to perform onsite Radiation Oncology Physician, Board Certified Physicist and Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist Support Services to eligible beneficiaries of the Washington, DC Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, (hereinafter referred to as DCVAMC). The contractor s physician(s) care shall cover the range of Radiation Oncology services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards. All VHA Radiation Oncology Services are accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting body contracted through the National Radiation Oncology Program (NROP). As such any Contractor providing on-site radiation oncology services must adhere to all the policies and procedures; practice standards, guidelines, patient care operations; patient safety; quality assurance and quality management of radiotherapy planning, equipment, and delivery; and continuous quality improvement initiatives promulgated by the American College of Radiology, American Society for Radiation Oncology and American Association for Physicist in Medicine. Place of Performance: Services shall be provided on site in Radiation Oncology Service, DCVAMC 50 Irving St. NW, Washington, DC 20042.
