NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6, 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton, VA 23667, intends to award a sole source agreement/contract to VCU Health System Authority for Richmond VAMC. HLA testing for post renal transplant patients. Donor information will be at this laboratory and therefore recipient patient testing will need to be performed at this laboratory. Patients who have received a renal transplant at a local facility will have the donor information at this laboratory. It is necessary for our treatment of these patients to send their post-transplant HLA testing to this laboratory which the Government intends to solicit from only one source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 621511 with a small business size standard of $35.0M THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement by submitting such information by 12:00 P.M., EST. on 02 June 2021. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement.
