The National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) intent to procure DNA samples for whole-genome exon sequencing at approximately 90 coverage. NIDDK will expect to be provided with raw reads from this sequencing effort and will do the alignment and polymorphism detection. NIDDK will expect the raw reads from 120 samples to be delivered within 3-4 months of receipt of the 120 DNA samples.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations however; all responses received within 15 days from the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition is based upon responses to this notice and is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 621511 the business size standard is $13.5. This acquisition is being conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.
