This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for Market Research only to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Large and Small Businesses interested and capable of performing the work. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) Company name (b) Address (c) Point of contract (d) Phone, fax, and email (e) DUNS number (f) Type of small business if applicable, (e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran-owned small business, 8(a), HUB-Zone, Women Owned Small Business, Small disadvantaged business, or Small Business) (g) a capability statement that addresses the organization's qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below. The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, Los Angeles, CA has a requirement for Social Detoxification and Substance Abuse treatment for Homeless Veterans are being procured and shall consist of community-based residential care and treatment provided 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. Services to be provided include but are not limited to: (a) Case management (b) Therapeutic and Rehabilitative Services such as individual and group therapy, social skills training, and relapse prevention (c) Medications management (d) Transportation to and from VA medical, dental or mental health appointments (e) Room and Board consisting of: (1) One single bed per occupant (2) One dresser with at least two drawers (3) Storage space (4) Indoor lounge area (5) Laundry facilities where Veterans can do their own laundry and (6) At least three nutritious meals per day It is the VA's intention to solicit proposals on a competitive basis for a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery and Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contract will include a base year (one year from date of award), and four (4) one-year renewal options that can be exercised at the option of the Government. This solicitation will be issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15. NAICS is 623220.
