This is a Source Sought Notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts,or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified sources; (2) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquistion. The NAICS code is 811219 and the Size Standard is $19.0M. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a small business set-aside is possible. Specifically, Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) is seeking qualified sources to provide complete maintenance and repair services for Government-owned pieces of equipment (Terumo Cardiovascular Heart-Lung Bypass Systems Model# 801763). The list represents the Government's current best estimate of the level of service that will be required during the contract period. The equipment to be covered by this contract are located at Tripler Army Medical Center. The equipment has been under continuous maintenance following the expiration of their respective warranties and considered to be at an acceptable level of upkeep to the Government. The contractor will be required to furnish all necessary services, qualified technical personnel, tools and test equipment necessary to maintain the equipment in a fully functional state in accordance with OEM specifications. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement is five years, one (1) base year plus four (4) one year options. All qualified sources are invited to submit capability statements that substantiate their experience and qualifications in performing services within seven (7) days from the date of this notice. Interested firms shall indicate if they have provided similar services to military medical treatment facilities and/or the general public under terms and conditions similar to those stated in this notice. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, and telephone number, point of contact (POC), and complete product details, brochures, and etc. which will allow the Government to understand your service offerings and options. Capability statements should be submitted to the attention of Mr. Paul Petro, Contract Specialist, Pacific Regional Contracting Office, 160 Krukowski Road, Tripler, HI 96859. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 30 July 2012 at 10:00 Hawaiian Standard Time. Disclaimer and Important Notes.
