The International Territories Acquisition and Assistance Branch of the Procurements and Grants Office at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a requirement to award a contract to conduct a study of whether the environment and immunization schedule affects the immunogencity of Inactivated Poliovirus Vaccine (IPV) in Puerto Rico. Services include, but are not limited to recruitment of participants, procurement and administering of vaccine, record keeping and publication of findings. Duration of contract shall be, approximately, from October 2002 through February 2004. Written proposals (See sections L and M of solicitation) from prospective offerors will be used to award the contract and the anticipated award date is September 2002. Full and open competition will be used in soliciting offers for this requirement. There are no set-asides for small business. The applicable NAICS is 621111. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be made available through the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The place of performance for the proposed contract is Puerto Rico.
