NA Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA intends to negotiate and award a firm fixed priced contract on 28 April 2003 to Cascade Regional Blood Services, Tacoma, WA under FAR 6-302-1 to provide blood products and blood services during emergency situations for a base year plus four one year option periods. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued. See note 22.
