The Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany, NY is seeking qualified Therapeutic Radiological Technologist to provide services. Services will include working with other Radiation Therapists and Radiation Oncologists to safely and efficiently deliver a prescribed course of radiation treatment. Must be able to perform all duties expected of a therapist including QA on the machines, 2D and 3D treatments and simulations, be responsible for patient set-up, orientation and scheduling, custom block fabrication experience preferred, be able to perform hand calculations, IMRT, and brachytherapy experience preferred. Must be ARRT certified and must have proof of physical exam within the last year including PPD. Experience on the following equipment preferred: Varian C1 6/100, Varian C1 2100 C/D with electrons, MOMOS Peacock system for Stereotactic Radiosurgery and IMRT and a Nucletron Simulator. Photons and electrons are used at this facility and most patients are treated with 3D planning. The proposed contract will be a firm-fixed price contract.
