The Government intends to procure commercial item services under (FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items) for acute emergency hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis for veteran patients, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The work shall be performed at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. The contract shall be for a base year, with the Government’s option to exercise four (4) one (1) year option periods.
