SOURCES SOUGHT Urology Professional Services The Amarillo VA Healthcare System (AVAHCS) is seeking potential bidders for a requirement for a potential contract for urology professional services for Veteran patients of the VA Medical Center in Amarillo, Texas. The Statement of Work requires a preferred board certified urologist(s) to preform surgery/procedures, conduct regularly scheduled clinics, as well as on-call coverage. The facility must comply with the VA Patients Bill of Rights as set forth in Section 17.34a, Title 38, Code of Federal Regulations, including current VA patient information confidentiality requirements. The contract period shall be for a base year plus four option years, from November 1st, 2009 through October 1st, 2014, subject to award and availability of funds. It is possible that more then one award may come from this action, depending on available funds. This procurement is conducted under the authority listed in the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
