The VA San Diego Healthcare Center, 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161 is soliciting for Organ Transplant Services (Heart, Heart/Lung, Single Lung, Double Lung) for a base year and four additional option years. The Government reserves the right to add additional VA Healthcare Center’s. Organ Transplant Services are to in\clude all hospital and professional services necessary for the care of the patient. This shall include, organ procurement, immediate pre-operative/transplant care and post-operative care to patients authorized by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Multiple awards anticipated. Contract to be effective for the period of one (1) year, with the possibility of four (4) additional option year renewals. This procurement is being conducted under the FAR Subpart 13.5 test program. Simplified acquisition procedures apply. Procurement will be conducted utilizing a combination of Parts 12, 13, and 15 of the FAR.
